first band. fell in love with them instantly. i told the lead how wicked they were, and how it sucked that nobody really danced. shes like "thank you, whats your name?" "brittany" "-vanessa :)" its funny how i get all "oh my god oh my god" even when a band isnt that big. just love people who play music in general i guess.

their guitarist dude was very robotic in his movements, it was pretty hot.

and then this local band called Cities In Dust got on, and totally blew my mind. he put an amp on the dance floor. AND OH GOD there was the cutest asian ever that was dancing. she was like, the only one who had balls to, and the guy kindve started singing to her. and she felt him up. i gave her props after the show was over, and she just smiled and laughed like crazy and nodded (sup drugs). i gave the lead dude a creepy hug after his set, but he was cool with it.

magneta lane was the last to play, they were pretty good, but the other bands impressed us way more. i dont think they played "ugly socialite", but they might have because me&crew were out front being awesome assholes. so we might have missed it. but eh. they are really really pretty in real life though. the girl is like "so this is a first ... all girls at the front, eh ..." the fact that she looked uncomfortable made it really funny. i went to see them at their merch table and was like 'nice show kthnxbai' and shook her hand (well i shook her wrist and dashed out of that shit cause i was jonsing for a drink). i got a magneta lane pin?

haha mormons.

we found a bum sleeping. huyen showz off the merchandise.

so yeah i've been on vacation. destination: rolling rocks cottages, located by the small lodging town of parry sound & some french hick town. ojibuay territory, yo. natives SUP UP IN HERE?

first off, our cabin was amazing. this is the kitchen. note the eye!. they were all over the cabin (esp. in the bathrooms). i thought that was a pretty rad idea.

our deck (with the amazing view). and see the islands on the lake? i SWAM to those (with my aunts + laura + maria, of course). it was crazy terrifying. everytime we hit a cold spot in the water, we'd be all like "AQUA BEAR!". it was pretty funny at the time cause i almost drowned. and my aunts went under the water & pulled me under. hil fucking larious, assholes.

like i said, amazing.

gift shop/etc. basically, parry sound's economy rests on the shoulders of mape syrup, natives, lumberjacks, and stuffed wildlife animal dolls.

some major hotties on this trip.

yesterday i partied mega hard at my aunt cindi's wedding.

YOU GUYS I JUST GOT BACK FROM THIS OTHER JOB INTERVIEW AND IT WAS HORRIBLE.

THESE TWO HOT JAMAICAN TWINS GOT INTERVIEWED. AND THEY HAD MUCHO EXPERIENCE. AND SHORT SKIRTS & HEELS.

and he somehow got the impression that i was shy. well yeah, i was basically shitting myself scared. so duh. then he starts talking about his childhood, and about how he was the "shy boy". yeah um ok.

so about the job, the thing is ... you work 6 hours a day. on your feet. but its 8$/hour -OR- 50$ for every package you sell (dont ask...). so it pays pretty good. but it sounds like a waste of time and energy.

fuuuuuuuck i'm not even in the workforce yet and i'm already sick of it.

so i bought a skirt and flip flops. yeauh. sunday.

monday i saw lords of dogtown with huyen. it was awesome awesome awesome. ok, so basically i really wanted the guy who played tony alva, and that dude who played jay adams (emile hursch?). aaah and that asian girl who played peggy oki as so so so cute.

soundtrack to this movie is brilliant. sabbath and floyd (and ted nugent?? haha), and all that good stuff. no seriously, i think i'm going to see it again. i remember when i first heard about lords of dogtown, i was like "shit shit" so excited. cause i'd seen dogtown & zboys a million million times. and yeah, that news was just too good to be true.
